Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 from Meadville (Pennsylvania) was her mother's Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone, who was gifted in school as an infant, started in second grade at five. She earned a high school certificate at Saegertown located in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in 1975. She was also a contestant for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. Her next move was to Europe where she spent one year with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe in the modeling industry and opted to go to acting. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success in her 20s.
