Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first minute. Then she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her in an unanimous decision. This put an ominous mark on her records for amateur. Ladd took her match with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing as a player with Invicta FC. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta 16 saw her move into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen defeated Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges among the pair of fighters, was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
